I’ve kept a secret from you.

I’m not proud of it.

Guys & Gals, this author isn’t built to keep her own secrets. She’s mostly an open book. But I’ve kept this tidbit since late 2016 with some success. You may have seen cracks appearing? A couple of tweets and posts about a ‘new YA fantasy series’ have slipped out. Maybe more than a couple…. I may have accidentally told a bunch of people.

Was that frustrating? Those tweets and posts?

I apologize. I’m afraid that if I have to keep a secret, you’ll have to hear about me keeping it 😉 But soon, you will have answers! Today, you will know the genre (well, subgenre) of my brand-spanking young adult fantasy series!

 

Back to those cracks I was talking about. Keeping my secret wasn’t good for my health. Most recently, it led to the decision to buy twelve themed cupcakes from my talented friend Carly at @cakesandcardsbycarly (please show her some love on Facebook and Instagram). I plan to eat them all. First though. . . .

 

In September, you will meet a set of characters that have been mine for nearly two years.

 

In September, book one of my new seven-part series will release. The depth of world-building and plot and character growth I’ve delved into over seven books has been an absolute heart-pounding joy to write. I can’t wait for you to be introduced to the characters in book one!

 

Prepare to sail into a realm of gritty high-stakes adventure, swashbuckling characters, forgotten magic, and slow-burn romance. Because in September, it will be my immense pleasure to introduce to you Ebba-Viva Fairisles in my new series, The Pirates of Felicity.

 

What is the genre, you ask? Pirates, my friend. Pirates.
